Dr Aruna Suraweera Arachchige
General Practitioner & VMO
Qualifications: MBBS, FRACGP,FRACGP-RG, MD,MRCEM,Cert.EM
Dr Aruna Suraweera Arachchige graduated from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 2008. With a robust background spanning emergency medicine and rural healthcare, he brings extensive clinical expertise and a compassionate approach to his practice.
Before making Tasmania his home in 2021, Dr. Ron completed his fellowship in Emergency Medicine in 2021, having trained across Sri Lanka and University Hospital Geelong in Victoria between 2018 and 2020. Locally, he served as a General Practitioner and Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) in district Hospitals.

Dr Divya Singh
General Practitioner | Female
Qualifications: MBBS, MD, FRACGP
Dr Divya graduated in 2004 from the top-ranked Armed Forces Medical College in India and brings over 17 years of experience as a medical practitioner. A veteran of the Indian Army, she served for 10 years as a General Practitioner and Specialist Medical Officer. Shecompleted her MD in Clinical Pathology with Distinction and previously managed a pathology laboratory network in Qatar, where her clinical research was published.
After migrating to Australia in 2019, Dr Singh practiced in Cardiff, NSW, before settling in Tasmania. Known for her warm, dynamic approach, Divya enjoys creative writing, oil painting, and choreography in her spare time.

Dr Seonaid Simpson
General Practitioner | Female
Qualifications: MBChB, MRCGP (UK), FRACGP
A graduate of Aberdeen University in Scotland, Dr Simpson holds postgraduate qualifications in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Family Planning, and General Practice. Prior to joining Esk Medical, she built extensive clinical experience as a full-time practice partner for 10 years in West Sussex, UK, and for 13 years on the west coast of Scotland.

Dr Charmi Vithanarachchi
General Practitioner | Female
Qualifications: MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Charmi practiced medicine in Sri Lanka for 9 years before relocating to Tasmania with her family in 2010. She practiced in Deloraine from 2012 and achieved her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2014. Demonstrating her ongoing commitment to medical education, she has served as an examiner for the RACGP since 2015.
Outside the clinic, Dr Charmi enjoys cooking, sewing, crafts, and practicing mindfulness.

Dr Milinda Salpitikorala - GP (General Practitioner)

Qualifications: MBBS, FRCGP (UK), MD (Family Medicine), DFM (Col), MCGP (SL)
Speaks English, and Sinhalese
Dr Milinda Salpitikorala has been practicing medicine for 16 years, including a decade dedicated to General Practice. He earned his MBBS from Manipal College of Medical Sciences in Nepal, an MD in Family Medicine from the University of Colombo, and Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK. Before transitioning to GP care, he gained significant experience as an Emergency Department Medical Officer.
Dr Milinda is recognized for his cheerful personality and thorough patient care.

Dr Eranga Eliyapura - GP (General Practitioner)

Qualifications: MBBS, DFM (Col), MRCGP (Int)
Languages Spoken: English, Sinhalese
Dr Eranga earned her MBBS from the Institute of Applied Health & Sciences in Bangladesh and served as a GP in Sri Lanka for 8 years before relocating to Tasmania in 2023. She holds a postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine from the University of Colombo and MRCGP accreditation from the Royal College of General Practitioners, UK. She is currently working towards her RACGP Fellowship.

Dr R Rathnayake Sujee - GP (General Practitioner)

Qualifications: MBBS

Dr Sujee arrived in Tasmania in 2019 following 16 years of medical practice in Sri Lanka. She is actively working towards her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
